Committees & Roles

While the PTO and PTO Board work as a team, committees are formed, each with their own set of responsibilities to ensure we get things done. Each committee has a Committee Chair (or two) responsible for ensuring tasks are completed and keeping the PTO Board apprised of committee activity.

Hajek Helpers (Volunteers)

Coordinates volunteers for PTO events and school activities; ensures that volunteer data is recorded and available to both the PTO Board and school staff; Works with teachers, staff, and committee leads to ensure volunteers are recruited as needed. Oversees Room Parent activities.

Hawk Life (Events)

Coordinate fun community and student appreciation activities/events, planning and executing community events.

Staff Appreciation

Coordinate activities and events in support of amazing Hajek teachers and staff.

Fundraising

Coordinate all PTO fundraising efforts, including two big fundraising events annually (fall festival, world’s finest chocolate, etc.) and Spirit Night events.

We currently have a Spirit Night Coordinator. If you are interested in planning fundraising events, contact the PTO at ptohajek@gmail.com.

Communications

Coordinates communications for all PTO events and activities (e.g., content creation; social media posts; community communication; PTO website management; etc.).
